Bridle Trails State Park is well-loved by the horseback riding community in the Seattle area and beyond. It features horse arenas, horse-friendly trails, and horse shows organized by the local community. Non-equestrians are also welcome to explore the 28 miles of trails in the park. Geocaching, metal detecting, and birding are other popular activities at Bridle Trails. Bridle Trails is a state park today thanks to the advocacy of the surrounding communities as the Seattle metropolitan area grew more populated in the 1930s.
