1061 Anderson Lake Rd, Chimacum, WA 98325

Enjoy hikes, horseback rides, and biking through the wetlands and forests surrounding Anderson Lake, whether you prefer a leisurely loop around the lake or inclines through shady forests. The lake is teeming with wildlife, and offers plenty of opportunities for fishing, birding, and non-motorized boating. There are also picnic tables along the lake—perfect for a lunch stop. There is horse trailer parking and hitching posts available for those who choose to explore the trails on horseback.

Tamanowas Rock, a large volcanic rock, lies at the eastern edge of Anderson Lake State Park. This towering rock belongs to the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe and is considered a sacred site and place of refuge. There is a short out-and-back hike called the Tamanowas Rock Sanctuary Trail which quiet hikers may enjoy.
