Westport Light 1595 W Ocean Ave, Westport, WA 98595

Westport Light State Park features coastal meadows, crashing surf, and tall dune grasses on Washington’s southern coast near North Bay. During your stroll along the beach, you may spot kite fliers or equestrians exploring the shoreline on horseback. It’s something out of a storybook, especially if you visit nearby Grays Harbor Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse in Washington. This windswept beauty has kept watch over ships entering Grays Harbor for over 120 years. Another feature you won’t want to miss is Westhaven Jetty, a basalt boulder structure built to protect Grays Harbor, which is down a 1.3 mile mostly paved path. There are plenty of other state parks to explore nearby, from Grayland Beach State Park with cabins and yurts to Bottle Beach State Park with shorebirds galore.
