Squilchuck State Park attracts adventurers and outdoor recreation lovers of all types. Nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains outside Wenatchee, Squilchuck is covered in fairytale meadows and towering ponderosa pines. The park features over 10 miles of mountain biking trails surrounding a forested group campground. Snowy winters bring all sorts of fun, with sledders, cross-country skiers, snowshoers, and fat tire bikers taking over the park. Before the construction of Mission Ridge Ski Area, people used to use rope tows at Squilchuck State Park to downhill ski the frosty slopes. Another draw of this park is the picturesque Squilchuck Lodge, which hosts many weddings and events throughout the year. Make sure to check out this park in the autumn too for the brilliant pops of color.
