Rasar State Park 38730 Cape Horn Rd, Concrete, WA 98237

Nestled halfway along the Skagit River’s path from the North Cascades to the Puget Sound, Rasar State Park is a favorite spot for families, hikers, and wildlife waters. With 4,000 feet of freshwater shoreline on the southern border of the park and over 160 acres of forest, fields, and trails, you’ll find plenty of space to explore, relax, and connect with nature. The park offers plenty of forested campsites and grassy areas perfect for picnicking, along with three cabins that can be reserved in advance for a cozy escape amongst the trees. Kids will love the playground, volleyball court, and horseshoe pits, and anglers can cast a line from the riverbank to catch salmon, steelhead, and trout. From November through February, bald eagles flock to the upper Skagit River, following the salmon runs and putting on a spectacular show as they soar overhead during their annual migration.

Today, visitors can learn more about the area's natural and cultural history through interpretive signs along the trails, which share stories of the land, its wildlife, and the people who helped preserve it. Whether you're looking to camp, fish, hike, or simply relax by the river, Rasar offers a quiet escape into nature with plenty of room to explore.
