Pleasant Harbor State Park, WA
Drop anchor in the turquoise waters at Pleasant Harbor and enjoy an overnight stay in this quiet inlet on Hood Canal. The cozy one-acre park is a great launching point for shellfishing, scuba diving, and other water sports. Many people come here in May and June for shrimp season. Crab and salmon are also plentiful in season. This park is designed solely for overnight boat moorage, and there are no traditional park amenities. There are 120 feet of moorage dock available on a first-come, first-served basis, where you can stay for up to three nights in row. You’ll appreciate the preservation of the surrounding marine environment and classic Hood Canal shoreline when you visit Pleasant Harbor.
