Pearrygin Lake offers a peaceful camping experience amidst the shrub-steppe hills in the Methow Valley. Green grass, sloping willow trees, and rolling hills surround the lake, which is perfect for all manner of freshwater play, including waterskiing and tubing. The designated swimming area is perfect for kids and anglers will delight in trout catches off the docks. The lakewater is replenished by surrounding mountains, underground springs, and Pearrygin Creek. The Rex Derr Trail, a 3.1-mile loop through the shrub-steppe, also attracts hikers looking for views of the lake and wildflowers in the spring and summer. Campers, who stay in tents, trailers, or one of the rental cabins, can spend hours socializing and enjoying the nice weather. The fun at Pearrygin Lake doesn’t stop after the warmer months end! Cross-country skiers, shoeshoers, and any snow-lovers can take advantage of the 40 miles of non-motorized trails of the designated Sno-Park in the winter.
