Located off the western coast of Orcas Island, Clark Island is a great place for kayakers and boaters looking for a peaceful spot to land and take in the beauty of the San Juans. There are 15 first-come, first-served campsites available, where you can pitch your tent and truly connect with nature. Imagine falling asleep to the sound of waves lapping on the beach, and then waking up to a stunning sunrise. Pack a lunch and eat at one of the picnic sites on the west side of the island, soaking up gorgeous views of the sound, or watch the sunset during dinner. Clark Island is a designated spot on the Cascadia Marine Trail, so it is popular with kayakers on the move throughout the San Juan Islands.
