Brooks Memorial State Park is a year-round camping park nestled in the Simcoe Highlands east of the Cascade Mountains. Choose from primitive camping sites or spacious cabins and enjoy stunning mountain vistas, hikes through pine forests, and springtime wildflowers dotting the meadows. Some of the trails are biking and horse-friendly. Brooks Memorial also features a new disc golf course for a fun family activity. The Goldendale Observatory, another state park featuring beautiful night skies and one of the United States’ largest telescopes open to the public, is only a 20 minute drive away.
