Bottle Beach, WA 98520
Bottle Beach State Park is known for its birding opportunities in the spring, as hundreds of thousands of birds feed on the tidal flats during their migration from Central and South America to the north. These birds come for the shrimp-like invertebrates rich in supply on Bottle Beach, and which are unique to the Pacific Coast. Bring your binoculars and find the two wildlife viewpoint platforms on Bottle Beach Interpretive Trail, an out-and-back path with 0.7 miles of ADA accessible trail and surrounded by several acres of restored marshes.
