Accessible Kitchen Shelter at Lewis and Clark Trail
Generous Washington State Parks Foundation donors helped fund movable tables and chairs at a historic kitchen shelter, allowing visitors of all abilities to gather and enjoy a meal.
Lewis and Clark Trail State Park is situated amid the rolling wheat fields of Southeastern
Washington, a camping park on the Touchet River. There is a beautiful, historic stone building with a kitchen shelter.
Thanks to donor support, the Washington State Parks Foundation replaced picnic tables with moveable tables and chairs to allow visitors of all ages and abilities to gather and eat in the reservable kitchen shelter with increased accessibility.
