Peshastin Pinnacles 7201 N Dryden Rd, Cashmere, WA 98815

Peshastin Pinnacles State Park features unique sandstone spires that rise grandly from the valley floor. The rough, ridged spires are especially good for rockclimbing, attracting climbing enthusiasts of every level. Climbers and sightseers alike will marvel at the views of the Wenatchee River Valley and the Enchantment Mountain range at the top of the park, which you can reach using a steep 1.5-mile trail. The unique geologic features you see here were formed by layers of sand and mud deposited by floods, wind, and rivers over millions of years, which hardened into rock that continues to be weathered over time. The park is named both for these sandstone “pinnacles” and the town of Peshastin only three miles away.
